A common affliction which strikes writers when they are at their weakest!

I suffer from a very real problem… I just can’t remember what it’s called.

You know – when you just know a word, it’s there, on the tip of your tounge…waiting to be heard, or written, or sung (whatever your means of storytelling may be) and it just waits there, in the back of your mind… taunting you with the knowledge that it exists, but for the life of you, you can’t bring it into the foreground of your vocabulary.

What is it called….. memory loss, no, that’s not specific enough…. hmmm…. if only I could think of it……

LETHOLOGICA!!!

All I can say is – thank the Gods above for online thesaurus’s…

    and if its on the tip of your tongue either stick your tongue aout a read the word
    or get a mirror.
